Group Size:

Group size is limited to 10 clients. This small group size allows for personal interaction with the Guide.
Because of the small number of clients on each tour, booking your tour in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Age Policy:

Eco Tours Tasmania tours are not generally suitable for children under 14 years of age and our vehicle is not fitted with seating suitable for child seats or restraints.

Cancellation policy for Advertised Tours

To cancel your booking for Advertised Tours, you must provide written notification of cancellation via email and include bank account details (account name, BSB and Account Number) for the refund to be transferred.
Cancellation notification received not less than 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date – full refund less any fees or non-refundable costs by third party suppliers.
Cancellation notification received 13 to 5 days prior to the scheduled departure date – 50% of tour cost less any fees or non-refundable costs by third party suppliers.
Less than 5 days notice of cancellation or No Show for the tour, no refund.

Custom Multi Day Tours and Bus Charter
Bookings

Custom Tours and Bus Charter enquiries and bookings are best booked via email.

Payments

A Booking Fee of $500 is required as a deposit to secure dates, arrange an itinerary and book accommodation. The booking fee is non-refundable.
A further payment to equal 50% of the total cost of your tour will be due payable upon confirmation of your booking.
Final payment is due no later than 10 days prior to the departure date. Non-payment of amounts due when requested may result in your tour being cancelled. Notice of this action will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy for Custom Multi Day Tours and Bus Charter

The Booking Fee of $500 is non-refundable.
To cancel your booking for Customised Multi Day Tours or Bus Charter, you must provide written notification of cancellation via email and include bank account details (account name, BSB and Account Number) for the refund to be transferred.
Cancellation notification received more than 28 days prior to the scheduled departure date – full refund of all money paid over and above the $500 Booking Fee, less any fees or non-refundable costs by third party suppliers.
Cancellation notification received less than 28 days prior to the scheduled departure date or No Show for the tour – no refund.

Cancelled Tours

On occasions our tours may need to be cancelled due to extreme weather causing dangerous conditions. It is neither pleasant nor safe to be out in such conditions, so client safety will be the overriding factor in deciding if a tour is to be cancelled. If a tour is deemed unsafe, alternative tours will be discussed with clients and if a suitable alternative can’t be arranged, clients will be entitled to a full refund.
