Extended Tours and Bus Charter
Eco Tours Tasmania offer their late model mini bus for daily and extended charter.
With Mercedes-Benz quality, safety and reliability, the Sprinter ‘Transfer’ is well-equipped to give exceptional levels of ride, comfort and safety, with seating for up to ten passengers in high back bucket seats, each fitted with a retractable seat belt. The Climate Controlled roomy interior, is accessed by a large sliding door fitted with electric step with a height of only 280mm, which, combined with handrails makes access easy. The large windows, high seat height and ample leg room make it an ideal vehicle for group travel and touring. A luggage trailer is available if needed, charged at a daily rate. Eco Tours Tasmania has strict procedures in place to minimise the spread of weeds, seeds and pathogens – see our Environmental Policy for details. The bus is equipped with a Bio-Diversity Hygiene Kit and water if field cleaning is required. There is an extensive First Aid Kit, Satellite Phone and PLB (personal locator beacon) in the bus for emergency situations.
The Eco Tours Tasmania bus driver is an experienced off highway driver, familiar with local conditions and driving off the beaten track. He is an experienced Guide, leading walks and Orchid Surveys in remote bush locations and holds current First Aid qualifications.
Customised itineraries can be arranged for specialist clubs and groups, from one day tours to fully catered extended tours. We have experience in planning group tours including customised itinerary, airport pickup, accommodation, meals, all required permits – and we supply expert guiding and orchid identification.

Eco Tours Tasmania is able to offer environmental ‘Field Training’ courses and arrange suitably qualified instructors, training venues and coordinate transport for field work associated with the training. Please contact us to discuss your training requirements.
